Orbix Education Group is happy to partner with ESU Malaysia, Taylors College & the Malaysian Institute for Debate and Public Speaking (MIDP) in organising this national competition to select our Malaysian champion to represent us in the ESU International Public Speaking Competition (IPSC), the largest public speaking competition in the world.
Heidi Ilyana Azmyudin Raj ( Sri KDU Secondary School, Kota Damansara ) has emerged as Champion at this year's ESU – Taylor’s Public Speaking Competition which took place at Taylor’s College, Lakeside campus, Subang last Saturday, April 23.
Runners Up for the Competition went to Nicholas Lim Yi Zheng (Epsom College, Malaysia) and the 3rd prize winner - Aidan Iskandar Adlan Disney (Kolej Tuanku Jaafar, NS).
Consolation winners: Darren Bong Yuan Ming (Multimedia University), Goh Xiao Yue (Sri KL International School), Jeevana Sivakumar (SMK Subang Utama), Kon Li Ann (University of Nottingham, Malaysia ), Kon Li Pei (Sri Sempurna International School), Lee Xiu Yi (Taylor's University), Ong Ky-Reen (Asia Pacific Smart School) and Vinoshini Pregalathan (SMK Convent, Klang)
About 150 Malaysian students ( 16 to 20 years old ) took part in the Workshop and Competition this year.
Organised by 𝗘𝗦𝗨 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮 and 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 with the support of the 𝗢𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘅 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 and the Malaysian Institute of Debate and Public Speaking (𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗣), the ESU – Taylor's Public Speaking Competition features a celebration of young peoples’ voices, world class competition and global cultural exchange as our national Champion will go on to compete with 33 other countries’ national champions at the International's Finals taking place virtually from 9th to 13th May 2022.
