Dato' Ong started his career with two European multinational companies. He was the Managing Director of Bloxwich Engineering Ltd, a UK leading manufacturer of automotive components. He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Orbix Edulead Berhad, formerly known as Abric Berhad and was the Executive Chairman and controlling shareholder of SAAG Consolidated (M) Berhad. Both companies were listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.
Dato' Ong holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, UK and also a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management.
Ms. Iris Tan Kok Foong PJK, PMC
Chief Operating Officer,
Orbix Education Group.
Ms. Iris graduated from the National University of Malaysia (Bachelor of Social Sciences, Hons.) and Universiti Malaya (Masters in Public Administration). She was with Star Media Group for 30 years and was in charge of corporate marketing communications, corporate administration and property management.
She joined Abric Bhd. in June 2020 and is presently Chief Operating Officer of the Orbix Education Group. She also sits on the boards of Orbix EduLead Bhd., Orbix JMIS Sdn. Bhd., Orbix BPIS Sdn. Bhd. and is Governor of Orbix KLIS, BPIS & JMIS.
She is also the Chief Operating Officer of Senta Adventure Camp(SAC).
She is a founder & board member of ESU Malaysia and is a national judge of the prestigious ESU Public Speaking Competition.
Ms. Iris is also an Artdo International & HRDF Certified Training Professional.
Dr. Chong Yee May
Acting Principal,
Orbix International School, Muar.
Dr. Chong Yee May was appointed as the Acting Principal of Orbix JMIS, effective March 2024.
Before this significant role, Dr. Chong began her journey with Orbix International School, Muar, in December 2018, where she joined as a dedicated teacher. In recognition of her expertise and commitment, she was appointed as the Science Coordinator and Exam Officer at JMIS in 2019. Building on her accomplishments, she assumed the role of Head of Science across all 3 schools and was promoted to Vice Principal of Secondary Education at JMIS in 2023.
Dr. Chong holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Universiti Malaya (UM), showcasing her profound academic background. She earned her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemical Technology from the same university. In addition to her academic qualifications, Dr. Chong is equipped with the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL) from the University of Cambridge.
Her commitment and contributions make her an invaluable asset, guiding Orbix towards new heights of academic excellence.
Dr. Sunny Hor Peay San
Acting Principal
Orbix International School, Batu Pahat
Dr. Sunny Hor has served as a teacher since January 2020 at Orbix International School Batu Pahat (then known as United International School). Later he was appointed to be the Cambridge Examinations Officer in early 2022 and then as the Vice Principal in August 2022. Prior to that, he served as a part-time tutor and lecturer in various private colleges and Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.
Dr. Hor graduated from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia with a Masters and PhD in Civil Engineering. He was a JPA scholar and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) with Honours from Kolej Universiti Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn. His true passion lies in education, leading him to pursue the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning in 2022, where he obtained a distinction.
Dr. Hor has more than 12 years of teaching experience and his specialties lie in Physics and Mathematics, but his true focus goes beyond formulas and equations. He believes in the transformative power of education, and finds immense joy in interacting with young people, shaping their futures through knowledge and inspiration.
Puan Zainab Binti Yusof A.M.N

Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications Programme (PDQs) - CICTL
Puan Zainab retired from the Ministry of Education as the Deputy Director of the English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC) in 2017. She has 37 years in teaching and teacher training in MOE.
She graduated with a BEd (Hons) in TESOL from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland and holds an MSc in TESL from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She is the Programme Leader of PDQ CICTL and a qualified trainer of CICTL accredited by the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom,
Dr. Guan Eng Chan
Chief Academic Officer,
Orbix Education Group.
Dr. Guan Eng Chan served as a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department in various Polytechnics, and later as the Deputy Under-Secretary in the Planning, Research and Policy Coordination Division in the Ministry of Education as well as Ministry of Higher Education. Dr Guan has more than 35 years of teaching experience.
He graduated from University Putra Malaysia with a PhD in Vocational and Technical Education (VOTEC); MSc in VOTEC from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA; and a Bachelor's degree in Technology (Civil Engineering) with Education from University Technology Malaysia.
Dr Guan is the only CICEdL programme leader in Malaysia.
Dr. Choo Yuen
Principal,
Orbix International School, Klang.
Dr. Choo Yuen was promoted as the Principal of Orbix KLIS since January 2023.
Prior to this position, Dr Choo Yuen was Orbix International Schools Chinese Language Head of Curriculum and Mandarin Specialist Teacher and was in charge of coordinating and strategizing the Chinese language ‘s curriculum development and teaching materials for the Orbix International Schools. She had worked closely with all the Mandarin teachers from the three schools on all aspects of developing the Chinese language.
Dr Choo Yuen graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore with 1st Class Hons.in Bachelor of Arts (Chinese). She received her Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) in Humanities (Linguistics) from the Hongkong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and her PhD in Chinese Linguistics from NTU, Singapore. She was also awarded with the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal Award.
Her impressive academic achievements coupled with her experience in the field of education will certainly serve our teachers and students well and provide us with the impetus to achieve an even higher level of academic excellence.
Mr. Teng Chuan Wan
Academic Director,

Having served many years in the Ministry of Education (MOE), Mr Teng Chuan Wan was the former Deputy Director of MOE ‘s Institut Aminuddin Baki, Genting Highlands. He had also pioneered the setting up of a new private school with one of the top international schools in Malaysia. His last position prior to joining Orbix was as Principal of one of the top primary schools in Batu Pahat for six years.
Mr. Teng Chuan Wan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons), Diploma of Education and a Master's degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Technology, Malaysia.
Mr. Lim Heng Hin

Mr. Lim was previously attached to MOE as a Technical Education officer. He also doubled up as an M&E secretary with a construction firm.
In sports, he was awarded the international Grandmaster in Taekwon-Do. He was also sent to Flinders University, Adelaide and South America for an international course to help set up a local Special Education Centre as its Vice Principal.
He later moved to Professional Skills Agency (PSA) as the Vice President to help certify Malaysian skill workers, offering them the “Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Certification.
He was also a HRDF certified trainer and helped construct the Senta Adventure Camp from its inception.
